US court completes hearing of FTC competition case against Qualcomm

A court in the US has completed hearing the Federal Trade Commission's competition case against Qualcomm and is expected to rule soon over whether Qualcomm abused a monopoly in the supply of mobile phone processors. Qualcomm said in a statement that the FTC "hasn't come close to meeting its burden of proof" in the case and defended the chipmaker's royalty rates as fair.
