US digital ad revenues up 17% to USD 58 bln in H1

US digital ad revenues rose 17 percent year on year to reach USD 57.9 billion during the first six months of 2019, according to the latest update from IAB. Video advertising remained a major contributor to growth, with spend climbing 36 percent year on year to a total of USD 9.5 billion in H1, driven by the expansion of connected television (CTV), social video stories and other forms of non-traditional video content.
