US extends ZTE compliance monitoring for 2 years to 2022

A US court has extended compliance monitoring of ZTE for another two years, as part of the settlement the Chinese company agreed with the US government for violating sanctions against Iran. The company said the monitoring will continue now until 22 March 2022, rather than 2020 as first announced. In addition, the court-appointed monitor will have increased access to company documents.
