US govt continues lobby against Huawei with UK ministers

US President Donald Trump discussed the security of telecommunications networks with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson in a call on 24 January, the Guardian reports. The US administration continues to lobby the UK to ban Huawei from building 5G networks, despite reports the British have backed off on a full exclusion of the Chinese supplier.
