US govt, open RAN policy coalition support Prague proposals on telecom supplier diversity

A spokesperson of the US National Security Council, Emily Horn issued a statement on the issue. According to her, president Biden and the US government view 5G security as a high priority. The US believes 5G security can only be addressed effectively through a truly global approach and are committed to engaging on this with all of allies and partners to promote open, interoperable, secure, and reliable information and communications technology infrastructure supported by a supply chain of diverse, trustworthy suppliers.
