US issues over USD 100 bln in export licences for Huawei, SMIC suppliers

Licences to sell over USD 100 billion in products to Huawei and SMIC have been issued to US companies, despite the US government's restrictions on selling to the Chinese companies. Data on the licences was released by a Republican member of the House of Representatives and reported by the Wall Street Journal.
