US local broadcasters launch streaming platform VUit

A new streaming service for local TV stations has launched in the US. The free, ad-supported VUit service is powered by the OTT platform Syncbak, which works with many other streaming services such as Hulu and CBS All Access. Over 200 TV stations are participating at the launch, including channels owned by Gray Television, Meredith Corp, Cowles Media Company,  Heritage Broadcasting Group, and Morgan Murphy Media.
