US military awards USD 600 mln in support to 5G testing at bases

The US Department of Defense announced USD 600 million in support for 5G experimentation and testing at five US military sites. The department said this is the largest test of 5G for dual-use applications in the world. Companies including AT&T, Deloitte, Nokia, Ericsson, GE Research and Federated Wireless will be involved in the projects.
