US mobile operators, Samsung join CBRS Alliance

The CBRS Alliance announced that it has added the four major mobile operators in the US (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint) and Samsung Electronics America to its membership. Formed a year ago by Google, Nokia, Qualcomm, Intel and others, the CBRS Alliance is working on developing shared use of the 3.5 GHz band for LTE networks. The alliance aims to establish a product certification program for LTE equipment in the 3.5 GHz band, ensuring multi-vendor interoperability. Since the six founding companies initially formed the Alliance in February 2016, the organization has added 31 new corporate
