US President Trump to invite social media firms to White House later this month

US President Trump held a Social Media Summit at the White House on 11 July, the Wall Street Journal reported. For the event, the president invited a number of conservative social media users and stressed "Big Tech" must not censor any US voices. He said he was directing his administration to "explore all legislative and regulatory solutions to protect free speech and the free speech of all Americans." No tech representatives were invited to the summit but the president added he plans to hold a meeting for major social media platforms later this month. He will also be inviting members of
