US reaches 6 mln people on emergency broadband plan

The US has passed 6 million people enrolled in its emergency broadband subsidy programme, after adding another 1 million in the past month, the FCC said. The regulator is also opening a new round of funding for schools and libraries to acquire broadband and computers to support remote learning.
