US smart speaker adoption up to 24% in Q2

Nearly one in four (24%) of US homes owned a smart speaker at the end of the second quarter, up from 22 percent in Q1, with 40 percent of those homes owning more than one device, according to a report from Nielsen. In addition, some 62 percent of smart speaker owners first started using the device within the last 6 months, while 45 percent plan to purchase more devices for their home.
