US Supreme Court agrees to hear Google appeal against use of Oracle software code

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear Google and Oracle's long-running dispute over the 'fair use' of software code, the New York Times reports. Oracle is seeking USD 9 billion in damages for Google's use of its code in the Android software, alleging copyright infringement.
