US tablet buyers like data plans, Samsung tops satisfaction

Some 31 percent of Americans who buy tablets do so with mobile data plans, according to JD Power's just released October 2015 tablet customer satisfaction survey, based on the answers of nearly 3,000 US consumers. An increase of 3 percentage points in six months reflects people's growing interest in browsing, streaming, playing, using apps and social media sites when outside Wi-Fi coverage. According to the study, Samsung (827) ranks highest in overall satisfaction and performs well in all five factors considered.
