UScellular, Nokia achieve gigabit speeds with 10km 5G mmWave connection

UScellular has set a new distance record of over 10 km for a mmWave 5G connection on a commercial network. The milestone was achieved using equipment from Nokia and Qualcomm and is expected to help the Midwest operator expand its fixed-wireless broadband services using 5G.
