Used smartphone shipments to reach 352 million in 2024 - IDC

The worldwide shipments of used smartphones, both refurbished and used, is expected to reach a total of 225.4 million units for 2020, up 9.2 percent from the 206.5 million shipped in 2019, according to the latest study from IDC. In 2024, shipments will reach reaching 351.6 million with a 2019-2024 CAGR of 11.2 percent. By comparison, shipments for new smartphones fell in 2020 by 6.4 percent year-on-year.
