USTelecom CEO to step down at end-2016

Trade association USTelecom's president and CEO, Walter McCormick, announced plans to resign at the end of 2016. He asked the body's chairman, Robert Hunt, to make 2016 a year of succession planning with the goal of hiring a new president from January 2017. McCormick has held the position for over 15 years. In his letter to Hunt, he writes "To all things there is a season, and I believe that with the election of a new US President, the association would best be served by the hiring of a new executive who is prepared to make a commitment of four years or longer to representing the industry and
