Vaizey sceptical about proposals to separate Openreach

UK Minister of State for Culture and the Digital Economy Ed Vaizey has warned that taking Openreach out of the control of BT could 'backfire', reports The Telegraph. Speaking to the Financial Times, Vaizey said he was sceptical about the plan, which is supported by BT rivals Sky and TalkTalk. He said that full separation would be a massive task, would take an extremely long time and had the potential to backfire.
