VATM concerned by EU Digital Single Market proposals

The President of German alternative telecoms operator group VATM, Juergen Gruetzner, has expressed concern that EU plans to abolish mobile roaming costs for customers could result in higher prices for domestic calls. He criticised the EU's 'Digital Single Market' proposals to stop consumers having to pay extra for using overseas networks, despite network operators enduring costs for these connections.
