Vaunet criticizes remedies offered by Vodafone for takeover of Unitymedia

The remedies mostly reflect what Vodafone already has to do under existing laws, managing director Harald Flemming said. Moreover, the merger between Vodafone and Unitymedia will build a company with around 80 percent of cable market in Germany. Thus, Vaunet believes that Vodafone will dictate the commercial terms and the terms for the content for pay and free TV.
