VDT to roll out 4G data service to 19 states in Nigeria by 2020

Nigerian wholesale broadband provider VDT is going retail with a 4G data service, reports the Guardian. CEO Abiodun Omoniyi said the roll-out will come in phases, starting with the commercial centres of Nigeria. Omoniyi said the company has 80 percent of Lagos covered already, and hopes to complete the entire state by end of the year. Another 18 other states should be completed by 2020, he said.
