Venray extends deadline for FTTH sign-up

The FTTH project in Venray is extending the demand aggregation in the town, as not enough residents signed up for services in the initial period. The subscription period for GlaswebVenray started 16 November 2014, after around a year of preparations. The period ended 18 January, but the project did not reach the minimum 30 percent of residents in the built-up centre of the town and 50 percent in outlying areas. The project coordinators decided to extend the subscription period, without giving a new deadline. Plinq and Trined are service providers on the planned network, and business customers
