Veon CEO meets Pakistani PM, to support Digital Pakistan project

Veon has announced that its co-CEO Sergi Herrero had a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad to discuss collaborative ways in which Veon and its local subsidiary Jazz "can assist with the country's socio-economic development through telecom, internet and digital financial services". Veon plans to support the government's Digital Pakistan initiative, which seeks to expand broadband and digital financial services across the country's population.
