Veon confirms acquisition of 1800 MHz spectrum in Ukraine

The Veon Group has announced that Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar, its wholly-owned subsidiary, has acquired spectrum in the 1800 MHz band suitable for LTE services. The operatoracquired 25 MHz (paired) bands for UAH 1.325 billion and  two lots of 5 MHz (paired) bands for UAH 1.512 billion.
