Veon Group has announced the appointment of Andrzej Malinowski to the vacant position of CEO of its subsidiary Beeline Uzbekistan, with effect from 15 March. Malinowski joins from Beeline Georgia, where he has served as CEO. He replaces Sergey Afonin, who held the position for two years.
Lasha Tabidze has been appointed as Malinowski’s successor at Beeline Georgia, after previously holding the joint position of COO and CCO of Beeline Georgia. A candidate for the Beeline Uzbekistan role had been previously announced but Beeline Uzbekistan was unable to finalise the employment of this candidate, Veon said.
