Veon raises FY outlook after organic revenue, EBITDA growth of 4% in Q1

Veon has raised its full-year guidance, after reporting solid growth in Q1. The company now expects mid single-digit annual revenue and EBITDA growth in local currencies, compared to a previous forecast of low to mid single-digit. This follows underlying growth of 4.3 percent in revenue and 4.4 percent in EBITDA in Q1. Growth in the first three months of the year was supported by higher revenues in Russia and strong growth in the emerging markets Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
