Thursday 5 January 2017 | 12:24 CET | News
Verizon is adjusting its network in Washington to prepare for its network for the 1 million or more attendees who are expected to be in the nation's capital for the Presidential Inauguration. Some 500 percent more wireless voice and data capacity was added by engineers throughout Washington D.C., including at Dulles International Airport, Union Station, and at local hotels and convention centres. Teams of engineers will monitor the network in real-time to make changes as quickly as needed.
