Verizon goes ahead with 60-day Sim lock on new phones after FCC clearance

Verizon has confirmed plans to introduce a 60-day Sim lock on new phones, following approval from the FCC. The new measure, designed to help combat fraud and identity theft, will come into effect "very soon", the US operator said.
