Verizon powers content streaming for Newsy

Verizon Digital Media Services announced that it is powering the streaming and syndication of linear and on-demand video content for Newsy, an over-the-top news network. The Verizon Digital Media Services platform ensures that Newsy viewers can watch high-quality video across OTT platforms, connected televisions and mobile devices. The Uplynk Video Streaming service and Edgecast Content Delivery Network, two essential components of the Verizon Digital Media Services platform, are used by Newsy to ingest, encode, package and deliver video to audiences across devices.
