Verizon sees higher mobile churn in Q1

Verizon expects an increase in churn among mobile customers in the first quarter compared to a year earlier, due to increased competition. The price war among US carriers has "calmed a bit," but moves from rivals could change that, CFO Fran Shammo said at an investor conference reported by the Wall Street Journal. In 2014, the major operators made more than 90 price moves compared with about 20 the year before, Shammo said.
