Verizon to deliver LTE M1 services for Neptune water meters

Verizon announced Neptune Technology Group as one of the first customers for its new Cat M1 IoT services. The LTE services will provide connectivity for Neptune's water metering platform used by utility companies. Verizon announced the deal at the CTIA Super Mobility show where it's presenting a range of new IoT products, including Cat 1 services targeting rural cooperative and municipal electric utilities and for water and gas companies, based on Qualcomm modems.
