Viber to focus more on user engagement, retention

Viber is focusing more on retaining customers, after passing over 600 million users worldwide, CMO Mark Hardy said in an interview with Tech.eu. New services such as Public Chats and Viber Games are expected to increase user engagement with the mobile messaging app, while also differentiate Viber from the many other messaging apps on the market. Viber already has over 700 partners for Public Chats, including publishers like the BBC and Empire magazine, platforms like SBTV and Buzzfeed, as well as DJs, bands, food bloggers and even a book club, Hardy said.
