Videofutur launches 'Viva' pay-per-view streaming service

French IPTV platform Videofutur, part of Netgem, has introduced a transactional video on demand (TVoD) service offering customers a content catalogue of 15,000 titles, including 9,000 movies. Called Viva, the service enables the public to watch films a few months after their cinema release (the so-called electronic sell-through window), with the most recent titles priced EUR 13.99 on a download-to-own basis (DTR) or EUR 4.99 when rented.
