Videoland growing, Netflix still biggest VoD provider in Netherlands

Monday 5 February 2018 | 09:30 CET | News
The Dutch video-on-demand market continues to grow. Local player Videoland roughly doubled its customer base in the past year to reach around 400,000 subscribers in Q4 2017, equal to 6 percent penetration. Netflix remains by far the biggest provider, and continued to grow its customer base despite a price increase. Around a third of Dutch households now subscribe to Netflix, according to the latest research from Telecompaper.
