VinFast licensed to test autonomous electric cars in California

Vietnamese company VinFast (a division of Vingroup) received a permit from the California Vehicle Administration to test autonomous vehicles on public streets in California. Vinfast created three models with autonomous features: the VF31, a medium-sized SUV (segment C); the VF32, a midsize SUV (D segment); and the VF33, a large SUV (segment E).
