Vip mobile customer base up 7% in 2014

Serbian operator Vip mobile reported revenues of RSD 25 billion for 2014, driven by a 5.9 percent increase in monthly fee and traffic revenues. Adjusted EBITDA increased 9 percent to RSD 7.5 billion. The operator finished 2014 with 2.16 million mobile customers, up 7.0 percent over the year and almost 96,000 more than in Q3 2014. The company's subscriber market share expanded to an estimated 22.5 percent from 21.1 percent at the end of 2013, driven by growth in the prepaid segment due to a new 'no-frills' offer.
