Vip mobile revenues stable in Q3, EBITDA falls 6%

Thursday 22 October 2020 | 09:24 CET | News
Mobile service revenues rose 2.2 percent to EUR 53.1 million, fixed-line service revenues were up 16.6 percent to EUR 1.9 million. Costs and expenses increased due to higher interconnection expenses and equipment costs, outweighing lower bad debts and advertising costs. As a result, EBITDA decreased by 6.4 percent to EUR 22.8 million, mainly due to a lower equipment margin, stemming an end-of-summer promotion leading to higher subsidies. EBIT fell 11.8 percent to EUR 9.2 million, and capex reached EUR 8.6 million, down 9.5 percent from a year earlier.
