Virgin launches 'Freestyle Trade-Up' mobile phone service

Virgin Media has introduced a new service allowing its Freestyle customers to upgrade their mobile device before the end of the contract by using the remaining value of the phone to offset what is left to pay on their handset credit agreement. Virgin Media launched Freestyle in 2014, as a new type of mobile contract which treats the handset purchase as a credit agreement independent from the voice and data plan. Freestyle customers can currently upgrade their device early by paying off their handset loan. With the new 'Freestyle Trade-Up' service, they are offered the option of trading in
