Virgin Media reports solid growth in UK RGUs in Q1

Virgin Media's UK operations reported an improvement in fixed customer net additions in the first quarter, while mobile connections continued to decline due to ongoing prepaid losses. Virgin Media's UK fixed broadband subscriptions increased to 4.997 million, as net additions improved to 80,700 (+48,800 in Q4 2016), while the fixed telephony base returned to positive growth, increasing by 35,600 (-18,700 in Q4 2016).
