Virgin Mobile Mexico opens up free Wi-Fi service to all users

Tuesday 28 August 2018 | 11:10 CET | News
Mexican MVNO Virgin Mobile has announced that customers of all operators can now use its free community Wi-Fi service throughout the country. In a statement the company said the service is available to all users who download the Virgin Mobile app, allowing them to access over 20,000 Wi-Fi hotspots in locations such as airports, bus stations and shopping centres. Virgin launched the service for its own customers earlier after signing a deal with Spain-based Wi-Fi network Fon and local internet provider Sitwifi.
