Virgin Mobile plans to launch its MVNO business in Colombia in 2012. Virgin has received the authorization for the MVNO launch months ago, Phil Wallace, president of Virgin Mobile Latin America, told El Tiempo. According to Wallace, the company is currently in negotiations with three Colombian operators. The service will be commercially launched in about six months after it completes a wholesale agreement with one of Colombia's mobile network operators.
