Virgin urges BT-EE to offer 'fair terms' to rivals

Following the approval of BT's takeover of EE by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), Virgin Media said it expected BT to live up to the CMA's findings that it will offer fair and reasonable terms to rival mobile operators. In a statement, Virgin said that BT-EE had the resources to meet any government imposed Universal Service Obligation itself rather than recommending a tax is imposed on new entrants and transferred to itself.
