Vitesse unveils IC portfolio for IoT networking

Vitesse Semiconductor introduced the latest generation of its energy efficient SimpliPhy Gigabit Ethernet (GE) portfolio which includes VSC8501, VSC8502, and VSC8514 single, dual and quad Phys aimed at IoT networks transitioning to Gigabit Ethernet speeds. Featuring Vitesse's Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) EcoEthernet 2.0 technology, the new physical layer transceivers are designed for a variety of low-power, small-form factor IoT devices, such as digital signage and IP cameras.
