Vivendi appoints Bollore, Cagni to supervisory board

French entertainment and telecoms conglomerate Vivendi has appointed Vincent Bollore as a member of its supervisory board. The move was anticipated since October, when Bollore group increased its stake in Vivendi to over 5 percent. Vincent Bollore is chairman and CEO of Bollore group. Bollore sold two French TV channels to Vivendi subsidiary Canal Plus earlier this year. Vivendi has also announced the appointment of Pascal Cagni as an attending director of the supervisory board.
