Vivendi CEO named Telecom Italia vice chairman - report

Thursday 28 April 2016 | 08:32 CET | News
Telecom Italia has appointed Vivendi CEO Arnaud de Puyfontaine as its vice chairman, according to sources cited by Reuters. The French company currently owns 24.9 percent of Telecom Italia and has four of its own representatives on the operator's board. One of the sources said De Puyfontaine's appointment may lead to the French executive eventually replacing Giuseppe Recchi as Telecom Italia's chairman, a suggestion that was subsequently denied by Vivendi.
