Vivendi launches shorts VoD app Studio Plus

Vivendi has launched Studio Plus, calling it the first premium video series app and service dedicated to mobile screens. The unit aims to meet the exploding consumption of video shorts, driven by mobile device penetration. Studio Plus has been producing premium shorts five to ten minutes in length, shot in eighteen countries in five languages. The original line-up will be complemented by overseas acquisitions. The Studio+ app was developed by Canal Plus and sister company Watchever. The app will launch in 20 European and Latin American countries by the end of the year through partnerships
