Vivendi looks again at possible sale of SFR - report

Thursday 21 March 2013 | 15:24 CET | News
Talks at Vivendi about separating its French mobile subsidiary SFR have gained momentum since a February board meeting, people familiar with the discussions told Bloomberg. The proposal under discussion would see SFR retain most of Vivendi's debt as the group focuses on expanding in media. The discussions intensified after Vivendi found no buyer for its Brazilian subsidiary GVT, the sources said, adding that no final decision has been taken and that Vivendi could choose a different approach. Vivendi would not comment on the matter.
