Vivendi loses appeal against Consob decision on TIM control

Vivendi and TIM have lost court appeals against a ruling by the Italian securities regulator Consob that Vivendi exercised de facto control over TIM, Reuters reports. The administrative tribunal rejected the appeal against the decision of September 2017 by Consob, which made Vivendi subject to additional Italian regulation over investors in strategic sectors.
