Vivendi Universal closed two previously announced disposals in 24 h, namely its magazine division including Express, Expansion and L'Etudiant, which was bought by Socpresse, and an 89% stake in Canal Plus Technologies, bought by Thomson. The transaction were worth Euro200 mil and Euro169 mil, respectively, with a further Euro21 mil to be paid later. Vivendi has yet to close the Euro893 mil sale of Tele Plus, and the Euro320 mil of Comareg to France Antilles.
