Vivendi rules out splitting into telecoms, media entities

French telecoms and entertainment group Vivendi intends to decide before next spring whether to sell subsidiaries to pay down its EUR 14 billion debt, but has ruled out splitting into two entities grouping its telecoms companies (SFR, Maroc Telecom, GVT) and media and content companies (Universal Music, Canal Plus, Activision Blizzard), Les Echos reports.
